As we prepare Satori to leave Luperon for the sailing season, we take a break and drive 5 hours east to Las Terrenas. Our friends Jon and Kach run a successful travel blog called Two Monkeys Travel and they were invited to stay at Casa Blanca, a gorgeous 5 bedroom home on the water. They invited us along with 6 other friends to have a 5-night stay at this beautiful home. Compared to Luperon, this was pure luxury. The kitchen was fully equipt and the house had laundry facilities along with hot showers! We each took turns cooking dinner for each other which was a lot of fun! We also explored the El Limon waterfall trail on horseback. Mostly, we stayed at the house relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. We were al happy to get a break from boat projects and have a chance to be “lazy.”
